Happy New Year, everybody! 

We hope things have been going well with you since we last saw each other! We're here once again, ready to kick the year off with the 2023 edition of the Sakuraiba Exchange~ So it's without further ado that we're pleased to announce that the sign-ups are officially...

As usual, here's a reminder of the rules:

 

1. Fics should respect the recipient's wishes as much as possible, especially their "do not want" list; remember that no underage fics - which are fics where one or more underage (<18) characters are sexualized in any way - are permitted.

 

2. Fics should be submitted with all the appropriate HTML tags.

 

3. Fics should be a minimum of 1000 words (there is no maximum though).

 

4. Fics should be written in English and be betaed.

 

5. Fics should be original, so no translations or sequels related to a writer's previous fic; they also shouldn't be published anywhere until reveals.

 

6. Writers and their recipient are to stay anonymous until the reveals, so there can be no direct contact between the two parties; if you have any inquiries to make, you can ask us, the mods, to ask for you.

 

7. Have fun and spread the Sakuraiba love!!!

The timeline will be as follows:

 

Sign-ups: January 2nd - January 16th 2023

Assignments sent by: January 20th 2023

Deadline for un-betaed fics: March 21st 2023

Deadline for betaed fics: March 28th 2023

Posting starts on: April 4th 2023

Reveals: A week after the last fic has been posted.

We would also like to state that artists will be able to sign-up on Jan 17, but if you're interested in being a pinch-hitter or a beta, you can just drop us an email or a message at either sakuraibaexchange2425@gmail.com, here on DW, or @sakuraiba_ex on Twitter! We will be accepting betas and pinch-hitters until March 20th.
